Fifth Avenue Crystal Pedestal Candy Dish Bowl (Poland) Overview
Fifth Avenue Crystal L T D Candy Dish with Stickers, produced in Poland/Pologne. Fifth Avenue Sticker near outer top; UPC sticker on Base. The top of Bowl is approx. 5-1/4" diameter & Base of Candy Dish is approx. 2-7/8" diameter. Thickness of the crystal at top measures approx. 1/4" thick. Base is approx. 3/8" thick & entire pedestal approx. 7/8" high. Top of Candy Dish has scallops approx. 1" wide & under each scallop is an overlapping circle approx. 1" wide, each circle overlaps at either end by approx. 1/8". Where each scallop ends is where each circle overlaps all around Candy Dish outer top. Under 1" overlapping circles series is approx. 1/4" beveled line that goes around the bowl. Under the 1/4" line is a series of pointed ends ovals that go around the bowl; each oval measures approx. 5/8" high. Under the pointed ends ovals is a 3/8" thick beveled line, & just under the 3/8" beveled line are approx. 7/8" diameter overlapping circles that overlap approx. 1/16" on either side of circle. Under series of overlapping circles (7/8" circles) are a series of pointed ends ovals; taller pointed ends ovals are approx. 1" long followed by 2 approx. 5/8" pointed ends ovals. Then bowl narrows to form pedestal approx. 7/8" high. At top of pedestal (at bowl) an inverted scallop effect approx. 1/2" across each scallop; these form a V effect approx. 1/2" long (1/4" on each side of V). V effect is just above 3/8" thick Base. Base approx. 2-7/8" diameter. Entire pedestal approx. 7/8" tall. Inverted scallop effect extends from top to bottom of pedestal, including outward V ridge. There's beveled narrow diamond shapes on Base bottom from center to approx. 1/8" from outer rim of Base. No box. All sizes & descriptions are to the best of my ability and may not be exact.
